What did you do this past week?
This past week I prepared myself for the first midterm in this class and getting ready to go home for spring break (potentially longer). I did not have much other work besides the exam for this class, so it was a very low-stress week for me.
What’s in your way?
Currently, nothing is in my way. However, I assume that once I start working on the allocator project I will run into issues.
What will you do next week?
Next week, I will start working on the allocator project with my partner. I will also start reviewing material from all of my classes so that I can get ahead on the rest of the semester.
What was your experience of Test #1a? (no details about the questions, please; there are still make-ups to come) (this question will vary, week to week)
I thought Test #1a was as fair as possible. The questions were structured similarly to the hackerranks we did in class. The instructions and test cases provided were very clear as to what the goal of each problem was and what was needed to solve each one properly.
What made you happy this week?
This week I was happy to finally get home for spring break. After the COVID-19 crisis began, it was good to finally get home and spend time with my family. Although, most people do not want to leave their houses, so it is pretty boring back at home.
What’s your pick-of-the-week or tip-of-the-week?
My tip of the week is to stay informed about the status of the Corona Virus. A few people in and around my hometown(in New Jersey) recently tested positive for the virus and now everyone here is on high alert. Everyone should be aware of the status of the virus in their own towns and keep track of how severe the situation is so that you can be prepared if it gets better/worse and react accordingly.
